OpenAI says transparency is a major focus — you’ll even get notified when memory is updated behind the scenes.

Who Can Use It Right Now?

The feature is currently rolling out to ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers — with a full rollout expected over the next few months.

However, some countries like the UK, Norway, and Switzerland don’t have access yet. OpenAI says memory will arrive soon for Team, Enterprise, and Education customers as well.
