WHO Confirms: 30 Out of 36 Gaza Hospitals Bombed by Israeli Strikes

In a shocking revelation, the World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed that 30 out of 36 hospitals in Gaza have been bombed since the beginning of Israel’s military operations. This massive destruction of the healthcare system has left the people of Gaza with almost no access to medical care during an ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Hospitals are no longer safe zones — they are targets. For months, healthcare workers, patients, and even children inside neonatal units have faced deadly airstrikes and shelling. The WHO has declared Gaza’s health system on the verge of total collapse.

Many hospitals have run out of electricity, clean water, medical supplies, and staff. Ambulances are being targeted, and injured civilians often have nowhere to go. Patients are dying not just from wounds — but from lack of treatment.

The destruction has included some of Gaza’s largest medical centers, such as Al-Shifa Hospital and Nasser Medical Complex, which were once lifelines for thousands. Now, they are either completely destroyed or barely functioning under extreme pressure. Health workers have been forced to perform surgeries without anesthesia or basic tools.

The international community has expressed concern, but little action has been taken to stop the attacks or provide immediate protection for health workers. Despite the clear violations of international humanitarian law, the strikes continue — and the world remains largely silent.

WHO officials have warned that the health crisis in Gaza is not just severe — it is unprecedented. The organization is calling for an immediate ceasefire, safe passage for medical aid, and the protection of all healthcare facilities under international law.

As of now, millions in Gaza remain without proper medical access, and thousands of lives are at risk with every passing day. The targeting of hospitals has turned a humanitarian emergency into a catastrophe.
